The Fourth Element Thermocline is now available as in a one-piece front zip, making it easier to get yourself in and out of the suit. Weighing less than 1kg, this is a great full suit with the equivalent thermal protection of 2mm neoprene but without the buoyancy.
The Thermocline fabric is an extremely comfortable and lightweight alternative to neoprene which is what most wetsuits are made from. It is lightweight, doesn't crush when folded, dries really quickly and is machine washable. Simply put, it is the perfect tropical diving suit. On top of that, the suit is neutrally buoyant, allowing less lead to be worn.
It is also much more eco-friendly than neoprene. Utilising a unique fabric made using ECONYL 100% recycled nylon from ghost fishing nets and other discarded waste, laminated with a waterproof membrane and thermal fleece, Thermocline revolutionises the notion that being environmentally responsible means sacrificing performance or aesthetics.
